Geological Consultant
Rodney Dale brings more than 60 years of exploration and mining geology experience to Eclipse Metals. Working in many parts of Australia, Indonesia and Africa on gold, tin, wolfram, base metals and industrial mineral exploration and mining, including trial mining and export of high-grade quartz. He has worked in and managed small gold mines in Western Australia. Since 1970, Mr Dale has been an independent geological consultant with three periods as a director of ASX listed companies. More recently, Mr Dale has been involved with assessment of iron ore projects in Australia, South America, India, China and Africa.
Mr Dale is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy and Member & former-president of the WA Mining Club Inc.
Alfred Gillman, FAusIMM
Mineral Resource Geological Consultant
Alfred Gillman has a BSc (Honours) and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) with more than 40 years’ experience in Geology. He has a successful track record in senior management and Board roles across gold, base metals, rare earths, uranium and industrial mineral exploration. He was the Group Exploration Manager of the major gold mining company, Harmony Gold where he led the development of several major gold projects in Australia and Papua New Guinea. More recently, he has consulted to the resources industry through his wholly owned business Odessa Resources Pty Ltd and as gained extensive experience in the United States, Africa, Turkey, Central Asia, South America, Indonesia, China and Russia. Alf has worked in Nigeria and previously on the Segilola Gold Project. He is currently also a Director of Billabong Gold Pty Ltd and advisor to Superior Gold Inc.
Helen Salmon, PhD, FGS
Exploration Geological Consultant
Helen Salmon graduated in 2013 with a PhD from Birkbeck College, University of London in collaboration with St. Andrews University, Scotland. Her thesis focussed on trace element enrichment in highly evolved alkaline rocks using the Gardar Province, south Greenland, as a case study. She has undertaken extensive field work in this area on the Motzfeldt and Ilimaussaq intrusions, both of which contain notable polymetallic and REE Resources.
Ms Salmon was employed as a Senior Exploration Geologist with two AIM-listed Junior Exploration companies based in London, and was later appointed Director of Regency Mines Australia Pty Ltd. In these roles her commodity experience developed from REE to include base and precious metals and she has worked on projects in Australia, Colombia and Papua New Guinea. She is an experienced field geologist and has managed drill programmes, soil and rock sampling programmes (including MMI) and geophysical surveys. As Director she was also responsible for managing tenement portfolios, exploration budgets and ensuring licence compliance.
